APRIL 27TH - 28TH
As is tradition here at Wren USA, Friday the 27th will be an informal appreciation party for our Wren customers with the Man Grille in operation!
Saturday will feature a Wren 160 Kerostart build, along with a roundtable discussion, a visit from JR Radio, turbine heli demos, and a balancing demonstration. Also, time permitting, we will assist anyone having issues with their setups.
We will also offer free assistance for Wren customers that wish to convert their turbines to kerostart. Please call ahead to confirm a spot! Pre-scheduling for this is mandatory...

November news
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a great Thanksgiving season. With the flying season all but done here in Indiana, it gives us time to reflect on the past year, and to spend time with family!
Open Day was a success, with attendance down a bit. I believe this is a result of "end of season burnout". For this reason, our next Open Day will be held in April 2012. Dates to be released in December.
The website has been updated with pricing on all of our motors offering Kero Start. The 160 orders have been consistant, as the jet community is realizing the value and reliability of these motors. Recently at the DOGS show in Dayton, Ohio...there were 9 Wren 160's, along with a pair of Wren 54's flying for 4 days, without a single issue.
The online shopping feature has been deactivated due to issues with our Credit Card supplier. We are working toward a solution for this inconvenience. In the meantime...a simple email with your requests will still get you the parts you need in a timely manner.

OCTOBER NEWS
With the flying season closing here in the midwest, it's a good time to consider any maintenance that your Wren may need. We pride ourselves in having the quickest turnaround time in the industry (typically less that 48 hours for normal repairs). And your Wren stays here in the USA.
THe 160 builds are going very well, with all motors now set at 123,00 RPM. The published thrust remains the same at 34 pounds, with increased fuel mileage and lower EGT.

Wren OPEN DAY ***Update***
Open Day is now less than 2 weeks away. We will have the Wren 160 and 100 kerostart motors available for purchase during the event. Also, there will be one 44TP offered at a special price.

Wren Turbines USA will hold it's 3rd annual OPEN DAY on Saturday, October 1st at our shop here in Indiana. The Man Grille will be put to use on Friday evening ( Sept 30th) as we relax with our traditional welcoming party. This has become a well received event and we anticipate a good crowd again this year.If you have any special requests, please contact us and we will do our best to accomodate . Several motors have been ordered in for sale that day.

Wren Turbines USA along with Mike Murphy from Wren Turbines Ltd. attended the WJM held in Dayto Ohio. The show was a total success, as our booth was busy each day. All motors that were taken to the show were sold !!
We were asked by Winnie on Sunday to host a "Nations Party " to be held on the following Tuesday. This challenge was eagerly met. After the dust settled, we had served 91 people from 9 countries. I had the pleasure of sharing a good cigar with Vitaly from the Russian team, as well as several other participants. The next day , I was given a bottle of Russian Vodka from the team....what an awsome experience this event was!!
Wren Turbines has been very busy in the repair shop, due to the peak of our flying season, and has managed to keep the turnaround times to less that 48 hours.
The next 160 build will begin 26 August, there are 2 motors not yet spoken for . Call to reserve your slot now!

Wren is happy to announce that all new 160 motors are now leaving the shop turned down to 123,00 rpm...but continue to meet rated thrust. Fuel consumption ratings have aslo been improved... This is due to continued improvement and dedication to our excellent product.
We will be attending the DOGS show...again in Dayton at the WPAB venue, during Labor Day weekend. The A-10 and the Epic will be there and flown daily. Stop by and introduce yourself, and bring a chair and a cooler for the evening festivities.
The A-10 will be retired after this season. I have owned this great flying plane for 3 years, and it is time for it to find a new home.The motors have been sold....so....$ 14,000.00 RTF less motors, Gen-4, high end JR equipment, armament package, detailed cockpit, DFS lighting kit. First come, cash, will not ship.
