Thanks to all the customers who attended the Open Day yesterday. The weather was good, we had three engines built successfully by their new owners, several repairs done, two 44 turboprops being run together and lots of interesting conversations with friends and customers. Our next Open Day will be on Sunday 13th July from 10am to 4pm.
We are expecting to have at least 3 people building Mk 4 kits and several people are bringing engines for repairs (labour is free on Open Day, you only pay for parts). So if you've always wanted to see what's inside a turbine, here's your chance. No need to book, no charge, just turn up on Sunday.
All the latest engines will be on show, the 44 turboprop will be run ... and best of all, we have a 10% discount for engine sales on Open Day. Don't miss it!

New 54 Mk 4 kits available later this week! The Mk 4 is identical to the Mk 3 in appearance and in the way the kit is assembled. It produces more thrust and is particularly cool running. The throttle response - which was already good - is now amazingly fast.
The price remains the same.

We had a wonderful Open Day yesterday - possibly the busiest one ever, certainly the busiest one for several years. Despite the cold weather, there were lots of people here, building engines, mending engines, running engines, buying engines and talking about engines. Every built or repaired engine had a successful test run before it left.

Our next Open Day will be on Sunday 6th April from 10am-4pm. Everyone welcome, no need to pre-book unless you are wanting to buy an engine, in which case it is wise to reserve one in advance. We will have lots of interesting things to see and some special offers available - 10% off engines and engine kits!

Wren Turbines and Ron Ballard are pleased to announce the formation of Wren Turbines USA. Ron is a friend of ours who has been flying Wren engines for several years. He has spent the last week at the Wren factory, learning how to service our engines, and will now be offering sales and service on Wren engines in the USA. We welcome him to the team and look forward to many happy new customers in the USA.

Happy New Year everyone! We're back at work now, with lots of exciting new projects for the year ahead. Many of them involve the new 44 size shaft-power engines: the 44 turboprop will be first, then we hope to have the 44 helicopter and the 44 marine engine.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all customers and friends old and new. The Wren factory is now closed for Christmas, and we will return to work on Weds 2nd January. We look forward to 2008 because a number of new products will become available, starting with the 44 Turboprop engines in January. Watch this space!!
